Remove PDF Annotations
Strip comments, highlights, stamps, and links from a PDF. Optionally keep hyperlinks — free and private in your browser.
Clean markups out of a shared PDF
Review cycles leave comments, highlights, and stamps behind. Strip them in one pass so recipients get a clean file — optionally keeping hyperlinks — without uploading the document.
What you can do with it
- Send a clean final draft
- Remove internal review markups before publishing or emailing.
- Archive without clutter
- Store the visual document without sticky-note noise.
How to remove annotations from a PDF
- Open your PDF — it loads locally with no upload.
- Optionally keep clickable links.
- Click Remove annotations & download.
What counts as an annotation
Comments, highlights, stamps, ink, and link rectangles live in the page Annots array. Removing them cleans the interactive layer without redrawing page content. Form widget annotations are also cleared unless you only intended to keep links.
Keep links when you only want markups gone
Enable keep-links to preserve hyperlinks while dropping review noise — useful for published manuals that should stay clickable.
