Is my PDF uploaded when I fill a form?
No. Form fields are filled entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
What field types are supported?
Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, and option lists (AcroForm). XFA-only forms are not supported.
What is the difference between filled and flattened?
A filled PDF keeps editable fields so you (or someone else) can change values later. A flattened PDF burns the values into the page so fields can no longer be edited — useful for final submissions.
What if my PDF has no form fields?
Some PDFs look like forms but are just static pages. In that case, use Add Text to PDF to type onto the page instead.
Does filling modify my original file?
No. A new PDF is created when you download. Your original stays unchanged on disk.
