Reverse PDF Page Order
Reverse the page order of a PDF online — last page first. Fix backwards scans privately in your browser, no upload.
Flip a PDF that was scanned back-to-front
When a stack of paper goes through a scanner face down, the PDF comes out in reverse. One click restores the correct order — no re-scanning, no upload, and the content of every page stays exactly as it was.
What you can do with it
- Fix a backwards scan
- Reverse a sheet-fed scan so page 1 is first again.
- Prepare reverse-order printing
- Some printers stack output face up — reversing the PDF makes the printed pile collate correctly.
How to reverse PDF page order
- Open your PDF — it loads locally with no upload.
- Click Reverse pages & download.
- Save the PDF with pages in the opposite order.
Why scans come out backwards
Sheet-fed scanners that eject face down finish with the last page on top, so the PDF reads back-to-front. Reversing the page order rebuilds the natural sequence without rescanning — and because it runs in the browser, a backwards contract or record never gets uploaded to fix a trivial ordering problem.
Combine with alternate mix for duplex scans
If you scanned fronts and backs as two files, you usually need the backs reversed and interleaved. The Alternate & Mix tool handles both steps at once; use plain reverse when a single file is simply in the wrong direction.
